The nSIGHT Network

Independence preserved. Capability multiplied.

The Network runs two directions. Clients keep an independent advisor with no equipment line to protect, plus a deep vetted bench they can be connected to when they need boots on the floor. The people who do that field work get a steady partner on the business side.

What it is

Relationships earned over careers, organized into a deep bench.

Decades in this industry leave you knowing exactly who is good at what. The nSIGHT Network is that knowledge made useful. Inside it is the Subcontractor Alliance, the vetted group of independent subcontractors and field engineers we trust with measurement work. It is how field work gets delivered without nSIGHT giving up its independence: we advise, Alliance members measure, and nobody is steering you toward a catalog.

For clients

Independence, with reach.

Our advice stays vendor-neutral. When the recommendation calls for hands-on measurement, we can connect you to Alliance members whose work we already know, so you get delivery without giving up an advisor on your side of the table.

For Alliance members

A practice behind your practice.

Membership means access to nSIGHT Consulting and the business machinery we run for ourselves: website design and creation, branding development, administrative process development, and lead generation, alongside work routed through the Network.

What joining looks like
For customers

Eight engineers. One purchase order.

A shipyard needs eight service engineers for four months. Sourced independently, that is eight purchase orders, eight sets of insurance certificates and onboarding paperwork, and eight vendors for purchasing, administration and finance to carry for the length of the job. Through the Network it is one purchase order to nSIGHT. We do the staffing and the coordination.

Eight contracts, eight invoicing streams, eight points of failure on a schedule that cannot slip.

Through the Network

PO 1 nSIGHT Consulting One contract, one invoice, one point of contact. We assemble the crew from the Alliance, coordinate the work, and stand behind the result.
Crew matched to the work from people whose measurement work we already know
Scheduling and coordination handled on our side, not yours
One relationship to manage instead of eight, for the length of the job

The first consultation is free, and we respond within 48 hours. Rates follow once we know the scope of the work.

For metrology practices and subcontractors

Business development for people who’d rather be measuring.

Most independent metrology subcontractors are excellent in the field and stretched thin everywhere else. We built the business side for ourselves and our network, and Alliance members get the same help, from a one-person shop to an established service group.

You went independent to measure, not to run marketing campaigns. We take on the business side of a metrology practice: how you present yourself, how work finds you, and how the operation runs behind the scenes, so your billable days go up and the admin stops following you home.

What the Alliance gives you

Work routed through the Network when a job fits your skills
Website design and creation, and branding development
Administrative process development for quoting, invoicing, and the office side
Lead generation that fits a field schedule

What you walk away with

A practice that looks as professional as its measurement work
A steady, repeatable way to win work
Business systems that run while you’re in the field
More billable days, less unbilled admin
The Services site

The delivery side of the Network, how engagements get performed in the field, lives on the nSIGHT Metrology Services site: nsightmetrology.com.

Membership

What membership actually includes.

Mentorship from the partners

Ron, Joe and Paul review business plans and talk through how you are running the practice
Guidance on pricing, scope and the decisions that come with growing past yourself
Decades of industry experience, including department leadership at a major U.S. shipbuilder, available to ask

Rates agreed before the work

Rates are set with each member during onboarding, case by case, not from a table
You know what you earn on a job before you accept it, and nSIGHT keeps a stated margin
Members who consistently deliver high-quality work get access to better rates

What we expect in return

Field work arrives on short notice, and the one-purchase-order promise only holds if the bench moves. Members are expected to respond quickly on availability and mobilize fast when a job lands. That expectation is the product.

How you join

Members come to us, or we go to them. Paul or Adam walks you through it: a conversation about your practice and the work you do well, then the paperwork that makes it official, including the rates you and nSIGHT agree to.

The Subcontractor Alliance

Run a metrology practice? Let’s talk.

If you do good field work and want a partner on the business side, we’d like to hear about your practice. A conversation costs nothing, and we’ll tell you honestly whether the Alliance is a fit.
